OverviewThe club has a thriving and rapidly growing colts section (we now have in excess of 140 colts players). Our colts section is still relatively new and has been building from the younger groups upwards. Consequently, in 2008 we will have viable year groups from School Year 2 to School Year 9 (U14). Older players are welcome for coaching but we are unlikely to be able to give them league games. School year 2 is currently the earliest that we intend to take children. In 2007 the club entered 3 teams into the West Surrey Youth Cricket League - U13,U12,U11. The U11 team won their league and the U12s and U13s finished 5th and 2nd respectively. In 2008 we will run 5 teams. Coaching night for colts in the summer is Friday. League games are often (but not always) played on Sunday mornings.

What we doWe have just qualified as an "Active Surrey" Accredited Club to ensure that we provide the safest possible playing environment for your child. We have a welfare Officer (Stuart Kinsey) who can address any concerns.
Our aim is to provide the best organized and run coaching locally. Rather than ask untrained volunteers to run coaching sessions we have so far been able to buy in most of the expertise that we need from qualified and CRB checked coaches many of whom play or have played for the club. Often these include Surrey Community Coaches and Surrey Development Officers. We intend to run winter nets / group coaching and have done so for the past 3 years. We already have 2 of the best pitch facilities in Mole Valley (certainly some of the most attractive) and in 2008 we will begin using a new 4 lane outdoor net at Pixham Lane, plus our new 2nd pavilion at Westhumble. See the links page for links to our Equity policy / Child Protection Policy . The club strongly believes in upholding the Spirit of the game and has Codes of Conduct for players, coaches and spectators. See the links page for links to all documents. If there are any Dads who would like to start coaching or who can help to organize matches - please make yourselves known.
