A Festive Message From Your Returning Club Captain

Dear DCC Members,

Firstly, I would like to thank you for your support in making me your DCC captain again for the 2019 season. I am extremely passionate about this club and am looking forward to leading the club to greater things this year.

With this being my second year as club captain, I understand the responsibility and challenges involved but will relish the rewards that come with it. It really is a privilege to be in charge of a quality team that’s part of a fantastic club.

I truly believe we have something special at Dorking Cricket Club. A sense of community and true pride when representing the club. This is something I will look to champion throughout the season and build upon as we grow from strength to strength.

I am looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at winter nets and look forward to attending the colts training sessions that begin in the New Year. These youngsters are the future of our club and I will look to support them as much as possible.

I would also like to congratulate the new captains on their new roles and wish them all the success in their positions.
Finally, on behalf of everyone at the club, can I wish all our members a very Merry Christmas and a successful and healthy New Year.

Toby Blood, Club Captain
