This winter the U8s to U13s will be training at The Ashcombe School in Dorking on a Friday evening. The U8/Y3s and U9/Y4s will be training from 6pm to 7pm, the U10/Y5s and U11/Y6s will be training from 7pm to 8pm and the U12/Y7s and U13/Y8s will be training from 8pm to 9pm.

There will be 30 spaces in each time slot and these will initially be opened up to 15 from each age group. If an age group does not fill up there 15 spaces then it will be opened up to the other age group in that time slot.

There will be 12 sessions from Friday 11 January 2019 to Friday 5 April excluding Friday 21 February so 6 before half-term and 6 after and the cost will be £70 for the 12 sessions.

As there is likely to be a waiting list at some age groups and the coaches plan the sessions based on the numbers of children signed up, the expectation is that attendees will be able to attend all or most sessions and attendance will be monitored and the place may be offered to another child if they don't attend regularly.

U14/Y9s and U15/Y10s

In a change to previous years the U14s and U15s will be invited to train at Dunottar School in Reigate for 5 1 hour sessions from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on a Thursday evening from 28 February 2019 to 28 March 2019. This will then be followed by senior nets from 7:30pm to 9:30pm to which the U14s and U15s are also invited for those 5 weeks.

The cost for the 5 hourly sessions will be £50 - there is no extra charge to stay on for the senior nets.

Parent Helpers

To ensure that the coaches can concentrate on coaching we would like each age group to provide a parent helper for their session at all age groups from U8s to U15s. These helpers do not need to have any prior cricket or coaching experience - they will mainly be sorting out the groupings in the nets. If you can help please let me know and I will work with the age group managers and Tom to put together a rota.

We will also be looking for parent coach support workers to help out in the summer - more on this to follow.
