It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Richard ‘Dickie’ Howe earlier this week.

We will, of course, extend the heartfelt condolences of everyone at Dorking Cricket Club to Dickie’s family.

Dickie was a cherished member of the club, playing throughout the 1970s to the 1990s. In more recent years, he remained a familiar and much-loved presence, often seen watching matches from his favourite spot beneath the tree at Pixham Grove.

As soon as we receive details of the family’s wishes regarding funeral arrangements, we will share them with you.

Dickie will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
